After realizing I could make a difference, I stood up to a wrong and made it right. Too many years of driving to Portland for answers, when I should have learned about nonprofits in my hometown, Vancouver, WA. When the majority of the top employers are nonprofits, I saw a problem. To ensure our college graduates and community members can make a difference at the next level, let’s prepare them for the daily battles and struggles. Therefore, I started the Clark College’s first Nonprofit 101 course.
