How to Become a Social Entrepreneur | The 10 Steps
We all have a Social Entrepreneur in us, but not all know how to become a Social Entrepreneur. In most cases, a Social Entrepreneur is a founder of a cause, charity or nonprofit- but not all need to take that path. For those that want to start a nonprofit, I will provide what I believe are the most important 10 steps in creating a nonprofit.
Here are those 10 Steps:
2. Partner or Create
3. Know Your Role
4. Begin Writing
5. Start Library
6. Find Professional Supporters
7. Begin Filing Paperwork
8. Packaging Infrastructure
9. Set Up
For those who don’t want to create an official nonprofit and only want to be a Social Entrepreneur, the steps above are equally important for your journey. Due to liability and risks, you want to make sure you do your due diligence to keep you and your cause protected. A misstep could minimize and/or worse remove you from seeing your passion become into a reality.
REMEMBER- To learn how to become a Social Entrepreneur, be careful of the advice you receive. Make sure it’s uplifting, empowering and constructive. If you stay focused on the results, you’ll accomplish the goals you set for yourself and/or your cause.
I write this because my business is personal. My struggles are for your gain. No strings attached.
